Phelps Memorial Health Center is pleased to announce that Brad Hartzog has been promoted to the position of Director of Laboratory.
Brad will oversee the daily operations of the laboratory department and direct and coordinate activities of teammates engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. He will also be responsible for compliance, rules, and regulations of the department.
Brad has been in the laboratory at Phelps Memorial for the past 19 years, serving as the laboratory supervisor for the past 7 years.
“I’m excited for this new opportunity,” he said. “I look forward to equipping our lab to grow and expand testing capabilities. I have a great group of people who are hard working and ready to take on the challenges of an ever changing medical environment.”
Brad is an active member of the community serving as a Teammate mentor and coach for Holdrege Legion Baseball. He and his wife Renelle live in Holdrege and have three children Landon, Jocelyn, and Maddux.
