COMMUNITY BENEFIT GRANT:
The Phelps Memorial Health Center Foundation,
Holdrege, recently donated $2,500 to the Elwood Fire Department to help
with funds needed to replace their current outdoor warning system.

Phelps Memorial Health Center Foundation uses the Community Benefit
grants to improve the health and well being of people in the communities
PMHC serves. The funds for the grants are allocated by the Board of
Directors and are a form of community tithing. These grants focus on
health care programs, fitness, wellness, education and community and are
given directly to the organizations at the discretion of the PMHC
Foundation Committee and the PMHC Board of Directors. Private donations
given to Phelps Memorial Health Center are used for the betterment of
the hospital.
