The Compliance Department is charged with establishing a compliance
program that promotes the prevention, detection and resolution of
conduct that is not in compliance with federal and state laws and
regulations and/or internal hospital policy.
The compliance program is operated and monitored by the Compliance
Officer, Compliance Coordinator and Compliance Committee. To establish
an effective compliance program, the compliance department maintains
written standards of conduct, develops education and training, and
monitors compliance through audits and other activities.
The department also maintains a process to receive complaints and
responds to all allegations of improper conduct by investigating and
implementing corrective action. Possible compliance violations can be
reported directly to the compliance department or can be reported
anonymously by calling the hotline number:
Leora Smith, Compliance Officer 995-2846
Tracy Kimberly, Compliance Coordinator 995-2889
