The Intensive Care Unit at PMHC is a 6-bed Unit, comprised of four
Intensive Care beds and two Telemetry beds. Our nursing staff in the ICU
are trained in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life
support, neonatal resuscitation, and advanced trauma care.
State-of-the-art cardiac monitoring equipment allows staff to
continuously monitor their patient's status. The monitoring system was
standardized in multiple clinical areas (ICU, Emergency Department,
Medical-Surgical Unit, Same Day Surgery, Recovery Room, Scope Room) in
2006, allowing for the electronic transfer of patient data from one area
to another.
We have an adjacent ICU Waiting Room, which allows our patient's
families to remain close.
