Our Services

• Surgery & Recovery Room

The surgery department at Phelps Memorial Health Center is a progressive department. We have an experienced surgical team which includes physicians/surgeons, nurse anesthetist (CRNA's), and surgical nurses. We offer a wide variety of surgical services ranging from minor procedures to major surgeries. Our goals are patient oriented focusing on safety, care, and pain management.

The Recovery Room also a progressive department provides a calm, quiet and
restful environment. We have an experienced recovery room team which includes
physicians/surgeons, nurse anesthetist (CRNA) and recovery room nurses. Pain
management is a priority in the Recovery Room. All patients need to receive
optimal pain management to enhance the process of healing. Pain management
tools such as a PCA pump (a patient controlled pain medication release system)
are used to control post surgery pain.
