Phelps Memorial Health Center is pleased to announce that Heather Behrendt has accepted the position of Director of Revenue Cycle.
Heather will oversee and coordinate all revenue cycle activities to maximize reimbursement in a cost-effective manner. She and her team will provide customer service to customers, patients, providers, and teammates while supporting the goals of Phelps Memorial.
Heather will oversee admissions, billing, centralized scheduling, authorizations and health information management.
Heather brings years of direct experience in areas of Patient Access, Health Information Management, and Prior Authorization,” said Rachel Dallmann, Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations. “We are excited to have her join the leadership team.”
Heather has been in the healthcare field for more than 20 years and an Authorization Specialist at Phelps Memorial since 2021. Heather has a vast amount of experience in the healthcare setting and years of experience in HIM, PFS, Leadership, and Revenue Cycle.

Heather is an active member of the community who volunteers for local YMCA youth sports. She and her husband Eric live in Holdrege and have two children, Harmony and Samuel.
