Phelps Memorial Health Center today announced it received the 2021 Excellence in Healthcare Award from Huron and is being recognized for delivering outstanding outcomes or driving new innovations related to their people, consumers, or business operations.
“We congratulate Phelps Memorial Health Center on this outstanding achievement,” said Debbie Ritchie, managing director at Huron. “This recognition is a testament to the innovation and resilience of their teams – continuing to achieve performance excellence and driving sustainable results for their organizations throughout the past year.”
Excellence in Healthcare Awards are presented annually to a select group of organizations that collaborate with Huron. To be eligible for an award, an organization must demonstrate outstanding performance and achievement in areas such as patient care, and employee and physician engagement.
“This award recognizes our effort and ongoing commitment to our mission of always providing an exceptional quality experience for our patients,” said Lacie Westcott, Chief Experience Officer, Phelps Memorial Health Center.
The awards were presented at the 19th annual What’s Right in Health Care ® conference, which took place August 10-11, 2021. What’s Right in Health Care ® offers keynotes from inspiring leaders in the industry and breakout sessions from other healthcare professionals who are helping their organization to own their future. Attendees convened both in-person and virtually to hear transformative stories – and learned best practices from other high-performing healthcare leaders and staff across the care continuum.”
