Phelps Memorial Health Center, in partnership with the Nebraska Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, will host an educational seminar titled:  “Understanding Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.” The event will take place on March 12 at 12:00 PM in the Rex Kelly Room A at Phelps Memorial Health Center.

This informative session will address the critical distinction between normal aging and Alzheimer's disease, providing attendees with valuable insights into this significant health concern. The presentation will cover essential topics including the differences between Alzheimer's and dementia, various stages and risk factors, current research developments, and available treatment options for symptoms. Additionally, participants will learn about valuable resources offered by the Alzheimer's Association.
