It's A Boy! The First Baby of 2025 Is Born At Phelps Memorial Health Center

For the 4^th year in a row, a baby boy was the first newborn delivered at Phelps Memorial Health Center in 2025.

Sawyer John Peterson was born on January 3rd, 2025.

Sawyer is the fourth child of Michael and Audra Peterson. Proud siblings are Arden, 8, Bennett, 6 and Harlyn, 2. All of the Peterson children have been born at Phelps Memorial Health Center and all were delivered by Jeff Berney, M.D.

The family was showered with gifts for being the first baby of the year from the Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce and the Phelps Memorial Service League. Congratulations to the family on their new bundle of joy!
