The Patient Financial Services (PFS) Team is more than the friendly face you see when you walk through our front door. Yes, they are that; but they are also financial counselors, the liaison between patients and their insurance companies, and the central scheduling team which schedules every single patient in need of receiving services at Phelps Memorial Health Center.
PFS Leader, Rachel Dallmann, leads the team of 22 with over 192 years of service. Rachel’s Team greets and registers patients at Phelps Memorial Health Center, Phelps Medical Group and Phelps Memorial Specialty Clinics.
“We are the smile you need with you are walking into the uncertain,” stated Dallmann. “We want to make you feel as welcome and comfortable as possible when visiting either a clinic or the hospital.”
Our centralized schedulers work with physicians and insurance companies to schedule over 1,500 patients a month for our services. The admissions and registrations team ensures that every patient is registered with 100% accuracy and timeliness. Our billing team submits over 55,000 claims per year.
